  The museum in Boron is a small collection of artifacts concerning the Edwards Air Force Base (formerly Modoc) and events and people there. It is Free. It is a quick stop, It has some unique and interesting tidbits of information, if you are into aerospace history. It is funded only by donations, so with a location like Boron, it is very underfunded. The volunteers inside can also give you lots of local history, and rip your ears off with local politics. For me, I will check in every couple of years to see what new has happened. It is a good stretch of the legs between Las Vegas and all points west!
